1. What Caribou is

Caribou is a platform that connects people who want to swap their job, temporarily or permanently, and suggests compatible swaps. Caribou only facilitates contact and matching: it is not a party to the employment relationship or to the swap agreement between users or their companies.

2. Registration and account

You must provide accurate data and keep it up to date, safeguard your credentials and use a single account per person. You are responsible for activity carried out from your account.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive purposes.
• Do not post false data, or confidential or third-party information without permission.
• Do not harass other people or scrape data in bulk.
• Respect applicable law and the rights of others.

4. Content you post

You are responsible for your profile information. You grant us a limited license to display it for matching purposes, respecting the anonymity options you choose.

5. About the swaps

Caribou does not guarantee that you will find a match or the outcome of a swap. Every swap requires the agreement of the parties involved and, where applicable, of their companies. Caribou is not responsible for the resulting employment relationship.

6. Intellectual property

The Caribou brand, software and content belong to us. You keep the rights to the content you post.

7. Liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranty of continuous availability or results. To the extent permitted by law, Caribou is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the platform.

8. Changes and termination

We may update the service and these terms; we will always publish the current version. You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these conditions.
